ARE YOU A BELIEVER OR A CHURCHGOER

Today Church has become like a commodity where people shop for moving sermon, inspiring worship, good music and quality child care, instead of a place to serve God in holiness.
Most new comers in town today are shopping for what they can get out of the church and not what they can give to God. Sermons from the alter today hardly rebuke sins,  but prosperity and motivating words. There is hardly any difference between our worship and disco hall; our music and dancing steps are like the people of the world.
Many are in the church but they never have an encounter with the Lord. Tolani Ajayi, a 21 years old boy,  who killed his father in one of the Christian camp in Nigeria,  made this confessional statement in July, 2014 "I never missed church for once this semester,  but I still take hard drugs, smoke and so on".  It is not only about going to church but being the doer of the word. James 1:22 says  "But ye doers of the word,  and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves". In our churches today, men are dancing at the bank of hell as if they are on the border of heaven, because we are not preaching the totality of the gospel
Are you a believer or a churchgoer? Are you born again?  Do you have a soul-saving encounter with the Lord? Many are in the church choir, ushers and workers without genuine salvation. Going to church is good but you must take a bold step to have a personal encounter with the Lord.
Shalom!
